Position Summary

We are a fast growing; dynamic consulting firm that is part of a global public accounting practice.  As a member of our St. Louis Resource Solutions Group, you will have flexibility on the types of projects you work on. You will be working closely with our client’s accounting team on most projects and occasionally with members of our Assurance and Tax teams.  We serve Fortune 500 and large privately held corporations by matching their project needs with your subject matter expertise.

 

Tasks

This role will provide our client with an extra set of hands in their financial reporting group to help with day to day, interim and year-end reporting. Relying on your 3 + years of related experience, you may step in as an accounting assistant or work with a Finance team to help them meet a critical reporting deadline.  Rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever it takes to get the job done is what we do!

Skills

  • Diverse systems experience with strong QuickBooks knowledge
  • Good Excel skills, strong analytical skills and strong technical aptitude.
  • This is may be a client facing role and teamwork within our company is critical to our success; excellent communication skills and a drive to exceed client expectations is important
  • Ability to work well in groups, have patience and a positive attitude, and willingness to communicate on client matters on days off is important 
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, education and certification verification, credit check, references and employment history verification.

Experience and Education

  • Completion of some college accounting courses desired
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting at a staff level with an accounting firm or public/privately held corporation.

Legal / Compliance

  • Must complete firm wide Non-Compete, Non Solicitation agreements or similar applicable documents
  • Must complete acknowledgement of Corporate Policy and Compliance Manual
  • Must complete acknowledgement of Employee Manual document
  • Must complete acknowledgement of Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards document
  • Government engagements require ability to obtain a security clearance from the United States government
