An ideal candidate will have exposure to international tax matter impacting individual. We would like to find a strong leader who is comfortable mentoring junior staff as well as maintaing good client relationships  Our team settings work towards building camaraderie and skills.  We provide internal in house as well as national technical training.  We will develop you to your highest potential .You will be communicating with and servicing client families as part of a team, while taking on challenging projects as well as your participation in professional organizations.  We believe that professional career growth requires your work with in as well as outside the office.

    Tasks

    • Serves as a subject matter expert in discipline or industry
    • Demonstrates excellence in most advanced technical skills
    • Complies with pronouncements of professional and other regulatory groups, and enlightens and teaches the impact of such pronouncements to all staff. 
    • Continues to develop industry expertise and stays abreast of industry news; contributes to staff development by sharing industry knowledge
    • Recognizes complex technical issues, reaches appropriate conclusions and applies authority to support conclusions.
    • Participates in client related planning, where appropriate
    • Effectively communicates all technical material to clients, verbally and in writing 
    • Demonstrates excellence in client service and business acumen
    • Ensures top quality client service and oversees total engagement activity
    • Recognizes needs and issues pertinent to client activity and follows through to implementation.
    • Appropriately manages risk and ensures quality control procedures are being executed on all engagement activities
    • Ensures efficient and profitable execution of engagement financial management 
    • Assists partners/managing directors in planning business strategies in discipline or industry
    • Builds client relationships; maintains smooth working relationship with clients and solicits client input on satisfaction

    Skills

    • Generates new business annually, from new & existing clients
    • Solicits internal experts from across the Firm to assist in marketing & selling firm services to existing clients
    • Is actively involved in community, social, business and professional organizations, to generate referral sources
    • Is actively involved in product development and product sales that will enhance market opportunities to generate revenue (determined by Discipline and Industry leaders)
    • Proactively identifies opportunities to introduce Firm and serves as an active spokesperson
    • Represents the firm and area of expertise by making presentations at third party events.
    • Demonstrates excellence in Executive Presence, People Development, Leadership, and Professionalism
    • Participates in mentoring, training, recruiting, retention and team-building activities
    • Effectively develops, supervises, trains, coaches, and mentors staff
    • Completes performance reviews constructively and timely, both written and oral, as well as provides ongoing feedback throughout the performance year
    • Effectively manages people with poise and professionalism during stressful times, especially during peak periods of client engagement and deadlines
    • Promotes the most efficient operations of the Firm and supports compliance guidelines in managing others
    • Assists partners/managing directors in managing administrative activity

    Experience and Education

    Education

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree

    Experience 

    • 8+ years in accounting
    • Public accounting preferred

    License / Certification 

    • Must be a CPA 
    • Must maintain required CPE credits annually

     

    Legal / Compliance 

    • Must complete firm wide Non-Compete, Non Solicitation agreements or similar applicable documents
    • Must complete acknowledgement of Corporate Policy and Compliance Manual
    • Must complete acknowledgement of Employee Manual document
    • Must complete acknowledgement of Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards document
    • Government engagements require applying for and receiving a security clearance from the United States government.
