    Our Associates are deeply involved in all aspects of the M&A process from client development to transaction closing. Associates are responsible for overseeing Analysts on project teams and providing senior M&A professionals with support and various deal materials.

    Tasks

    1. Participate meaningfully in all aspects of transaction development and execution
    2. Develop and present analyses and presentations in client and prospect meetings
    3. Identify strategic and financial buyers and sellers
    4. Participate in M&A strategy development discussions
    5. Draft information memoranda and management presentations
    6. Coordinate and support due diligence
    7. Build detailed and accurate financial models, including DCF, LBO, comparable transaction and guideline company analysis
    8. Monitor relevant transactions, capital market trends, company financial statements, industry, regulatory, and other economic information
    9. Mentor and develop staff (Analysts)

    Skills

    1. Robust analytical skillset with an understanding of integrated financial statements and the underpinnings of accounting
    2. Expert in the Microsoft suite of programs
    3. Completion of 2-3 year analyst program at bulge bracket or middle market investment bank (for Associate)
    4. Experience with writing confidential information memoranda and constructing detailed financial models
    5. Experience leading meetings with clients and counterparties
    6. Experience conducting outreach to potential acquirers
    7. Experience with purchase agreements, credit agreements, and working capital analysis and adjustment mechanisms
    8. Series 7, 79, & 63 designations
    9. Self-starter with executive presence and team-oriented spirit
    10. Candidates can come from investment banking, valuation, private equity, or corporate development backgrounds as long as they have a mix of the above

    Experience and Education

    1. Four year degree with strong academic performance

    2. Two - Four years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Transaction Services
