    Word Processing position available supporting the audit department at UHY LLP, a fast-growing, public accounting firm located in midtown Manhattan.

     

    Work in a fast-paced department that is looking for an individual who takes pride in quality work. You can be an integral part of our audit department by demonstrating your ability to field numerous requests under deadline and still uphold high standards when producing your work.

    Tasks

    • Heavy formatting of financial statements while adhering to Firm formatting guidelines
    • Interface with audit managers while re-drafting financial statements to help them meet their deadlines.
    • Revise and proofread final document; bind and mail financials to client
    • Close out & finalize work papers after audit is completed; enter details of finished work on monthly log to Quality Control Dept.
    • Format audit presentations at the completion of audit
    • Format Due Diligence Reports
    • Format engagement letters; scan signed engagement letter into work binders
    • Monthly billing for audit managers
    • Creation of new client engagement accounts

    Skills

    • 3-5 years previous work experience as an word processor in a corporate setting
    • Previous experience in an accounting or financial firm desirable but not required
    • Expert level knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects under deadline
    • Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
    • Comfortable working with all levels of staff & management
