    • Be the employee advocate for appropriate HR items with management.
    • Hold insurance orientation meetings as needed.
    • Process employees changes through HRIS system
    • Oversee campus recruiting for office/region.
    • Answer employee questions and concerns regarding any HR item such as benefits, salary or other pertinent information.
    • Oversee performance management process.
    • Complete new hire and termination paperwork and notifications.
    • Create and monitor important metrics of industry and office
    • Manage the work of the HR coordinator to ensure accuracy.
    • Alert CHRO/Director of HR of any employee concerns or situations.
    • Oversee/Process documentation of any legal concerns.
    • Communicate with Senior Management as needed.
    • Handle exit interviews and handle according to best practices.
    • Help with the HR M&A process as appropriate.
    • Be able to manage time of self and projects while dealing with interruptions.


    • Strong communication skills, especially as it relates to listening/speaking with staff
    • Attention to detail, espeically as it relates to reading and writing
    • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
    • Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
    • Time Management - Managing one's own time.
    • Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
    • Executive Presence - Confidently working and presenting to Partners and Directors with poise and professionalism 
    • Computer Skills – Ability to operate spreadsheet, word processing and email programs. Knowledge of and ability to operate HRIS systems (Ultipro, Halogen and iCIMS).
    • Mathematics – To be able to utilize Excel formulas to show computations as well as metrics for HR.
    • Law – Understand and apply laws impacting Federal, State, or City applications with Human Resources.

    Experience and Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or 4 years’ experience in a HR role.  PHR/SPHR a plus.
