  • Position Summary

UHY is hoping to add a Recruiting Manager to our team to oversee and develop a strategy that lends to meeting the current and future talent needs of the firm. 

     

    Your role will be to plan, direct, and execute recruitment strategy.  You will also provide recruiting support to source, attract, assess and recruit optimal talent.

    Tasks

    • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
    • Develop recruiting strategies and participate in talent & succession planning with Sr. Management.
    • Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
    • Supervise recruiters, including providing training and development needed to succeed at their positions.
    • Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills.
    • Track applicants throughout the full recruiting cycle.
    • Manage recruiting budget.
    • Manage social media relationships/contracts used for attracting talent.

    • Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.

    • Negotiation - Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.  Negotiating offers with Sr. Management through recommendations and competitive/internal data.
    • Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
    • Computer Skills – Ability to operate spreadsheet, word processing and email programs.  Familiarity with and ability to operate HRIS system.
    • Interviewing – Exceptional skills to uncover behavioral deficiencies and well as fit to culture.
    • Testing – Ability to understand tools used to test candidates and report findings to management.

    Experience and Education

    Bachelor's Degree; 4+ years
