THE FOCUS IS YOU: 

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated International Tax Senior Staff to help lead our growing International Tax group.  This position will focus on executing International Consulting & Compliance to our corporate clients along with international matters related to individuals.  As our UHY International group of member firms continues to significantly grow, you will gain exposure to a variety of complex international tax projects and unique situations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Regular duties include (but are not limited to):

• Prepare and/or assist with complex tax returns
• Demonstrates knowledge of all technical aspects of the job, including related knowledge of necessary systems and procedures
• Handles more complex tasks and projects within discipline/ function
• Ensures top quality client service and oversees client service performance of staff
• Assists management in planning and managing engagement activity and follows through to achieve results
• Builds client relationships and maintains smooth working relationship
• Responds timely and accurately to internal team and client requests
• Seeks new ideas and better ways of accomplishing job and company goals

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience

• 1+ years in relevant position

Education

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technology experience
• Bachelor’s in Accounting (for Audit or Tax)
• Master’s degree or 150 credits completed, in designated states

License / Certification

• Actively working toward passing the CPA Exam, or relevant certification for respective discipline as soon as possible, if certification is not already attained
• Must maintain required CPE credits annually

Legal / Compliance

• Must complete acknowledgement of Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards document
• Governmental engagements require ability to obtain a security clearance from the United States government
