THE FOCUS IS YOU: 

UHY is on the hunt for a self-motived individual who wants to join a fast-paced and growing middle-market Transaction Services team.

This role will be focused on leading buy-and sell-side financial due diligence services on behalf of a broad range of financial and strategic buyers & sellers, as well as privately held business owners within the dynamic middle market. UHY offers a culture-focused, entrepreneurial team, covering a national footprint. Senior Consultants will be deeply involved with all aspects of the financial due diligence process from client development to transaction closing.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead financial due diligence (buy-side and sell-side) engagements including:
    • Quoting and scoping prospective engagements;
    • Directing and performing analysis;
    • Leading management discussions and correspondence;
    • Preparation and presentation of key deal analyses (Quality of Earnings, Net Working Capital, Debt & Debt-Like, etc.);
    • Writing reports and delivering findings to clients.
  • Participation in  marketing efforts,, networking events, preparation of pitchbooks and related materials.
  • Manage and communicate pipeline and project status internally and with clients.
  • Develop standards, practices, procedures, templates and thought leadership.
  • Participate in recruiting and interviewing / candidate selection.
  • Develop and mentor staff.
  • Exposure to transactional support for capital raising, restructuring, and traditional sell-side investment banking transactions and strategies.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

  • 5+ years of audit / corporate finance / transaction advisory service experience
  • Experience with writing financial due diligence reports and constructing detailed financial models
  • Demonstrable financial due diligence execution experience

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance with strong academic performance

License / Certification

  • Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) designation preferred

Legal / Compliance

  • Must complete acknowledgement of Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards document
  • Governmental engagements require ability to obtain a security clearance from the United States government
