THE FOCUS IS YOU

As a Payroll Associate, you will support the accurate and timely processing of payroll. This position involves collaborating with the Payroll Manager and other team members to ensure that payroll services are completed efficiently and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Regular duties include (but are not limited to):

• Assist in processing payroll for multi-state operations
• Input and verify payroll data to ensure accuracy
• Prepare and distribute paychecks and direct deposits electronic files
• Stay informed about federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations
• Prepare and maintain payroll reports and records
• Collaborate with employees and internal team members to gather payroll-related information and resolve inquiries
• Assist in the preparation of employee pay statements and reports
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes
• Support the implementation of best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of payroll data and sensitive employee information
• Utilize payroll software and systems effectively
• Assist in system upgrades and changes as necessary

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4 years in relevant position 

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a shared service environment
• Previous experience in payroll processing or a related role
• Payroll report writing/BI experience
• Experience with Workday
• Experience with state and local tax issue resolutions
