Position Summary

THE FOCUS IS YOU

 

As a Software Solution Specialist, you will assist the trusted advisor with providing expertise in accounting software solutions to clients and internal stakeholders. You will play a key role in understanding client requirements, working through the software solutions process, assist in implementing and configuring accounting software systems. Your knowledge of accounting principles, technical skills, and ability to translate business needs into effective software solutions will contribute to the success of our clients' accounting software solution processes.

 

**Must have Sage Intacct Experience**

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

Regular duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Collaborate with clients to assess their accounting software requirements and provide appropriate recommendations
  • Assist clients with the installation and configuration of accounting software systems to meet their specific needs
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to ensure they understand the features and functionality of the software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to accounting software implementation, data migration, and integration with other systems
  • Provide ongoing technical support to clients through various channels, including phone, email, and remote access
  • Perform regular software updates, patches, and maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, development, and product management, to address client needs and contribute to product enhancements
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to provide accurate guidance and support to clients
  • Document client interactions, issues, and resolutions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and develop expertise in accounting software solutions

  • None

Work environment

  • Work is conducted in a professional office environment with minimal distractions

Physical demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and performing work in front of a computer screen for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time

Travel required

  • Occasional travel, but unpredictable, based on client needs

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

Required education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, accounting information systems, or relevant, hands-on accounting system implementation experience
  • Current experience and technology skills using Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, or similar accounting software
  • Proficient with using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
