THE FOCUS IS YOU: 

As an Enterprise Manager, you will be in a position of full responsibility for directing engagements and special assignments and have the enhanced capability of supervising several engagements simultaneously.  The Manager oversees the performance of client service and all related activity.  The Manager can perform all tasks related to client service and sees that assignments are accomplished by the engagement team within the budgeted time.  This role takes on responsibility for the professional and technical development of the staff through on-the-job-interaction and leading in-house training.  Additionally, the Manager has begun to develop a list of potential referral sources to bring new business to the firm and is involved in community activities for the purposes of business development and cross selling the firm’s services.  The manager should be developing expertise in one or more specific industry areas. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Regular duties include (but are not limited to):

Audit Strategy & Oversight:

• Lead and manage a team of audit professionals, including senior and staff members, in planning, executing, and concluding audit engagements
• Ensure adherence to engagement timelines, budgets, and firm standards
• Collaborate with partners and directors to develop comprehensive audit strategies and plans that address client-specific risks and objectives
• Oversee the allocation of resources, assignment of roles, and development of audit programs
• Conduct complex audit procedures, review workpapers, and assess audit findings to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and disclosures
• Monitor the progress of audit engagements, providing guidance to resolve challenges and meet milestones
• Stay abreast of evolving accounting standards, regulatory changes, and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to engagements
• Assist in providing guidance to the team on complex accounting and auditing issues

Research and Analysis:

• Stay abreast of evolving audit and tax laws, regulations, and industry developments, applying this knowledge to client engagements and internal training initiatives
• Coordinate and complete audit and tax research efforts to address client inquiries, resolve complex issues, and guide decision-making

Client Communication:

• Effectively communicate complex audit and tax concepts and strategies to clients, tailoring explanations to their understanding and addressing their questions or concerns

 Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of audit documentation, reports, and conclusions with firm standards and regulations
• Follow best practices and methodologies to enhance the quality of audit engagements

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other audit professionals within the firm to share insights, knowledge, and best practices
• Coach, mentor, and develop audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
• Cultivate a collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and effective communication among team members

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience

• 5-8 years in relevant position
• Public accounting or other professional services environment preferred

Education

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technology experience
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

License / Certification

• CPA License required
• Must maintain required CPE credits annually

Legal / Compliance

• Must complete acknowledgement of Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards document
• Government engagements require ability to obtain a security clearance from the United States government
