THE FOCUS IS YOU:    Our Valuation Group is growing. The candidate is detailed oriented and possesses the ability to assume full responsibility for directing engagements and special assignments and has the enhanced capability of supervising a number of engagements simultaneously. The position oversees the performance of client service and all related activity. The candidate can perform all tasks related to client service and sees that assignments are accomplished by multiple engagement teams within the budgeted time. This role takes on responsibility for the professional and technical development of the staff through on-the-job-interaction and leading in-house training.    WHAT YOU WILL DO Regular duties include (but are not limited to): - Execute assigned internal audit and/or consulting engagements. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing the necessary procedures involved in planning and executing attestation engagements for clients in accordance with the applicable accounting standards.  The Audit Manager serves to manage client engagements, maintain client relationships, and act as a liaison between overseeing/mentoring internal staff and working closely with internal leaders, to ensure high-quality work is conducted and delivered to our clients.   WHAT YOU WILL DO Regular duties include (but are not limited to): - Perform and assist with audits, reviews and compilations for clients in various industries - Oversee and review financial statements and evaluate internal controls - Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up - Deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards - Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines - Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient - Communicate with Client, Management, and Managing Director on work status and client issues that arise   WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR   Experience - 5+ years in relevant position - Public accounting or other professional services environment preferred Education - Minimum Bachelor’s degree or other recognized business credential - Bachelor’s in Accounting (for Audit or Tax) License / Certification - Must be a CPA for Audit, Tax Accounting; Respective similar certification for IT audit, consulting - Must maintain required CPE credits annually - May need other industry or specialization certification for specific positions Legal / Compliance - Must complete acknowledgement of Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards document - Government engagements require ability to obtain a security clearance from the United States government   WHO WE ARE   READY TO DELIVER We take pride in our ability to combine local knowledge with national, regional, and international skills to provide you and your organization with the best resources possible.
